2016 April 1st. Singapore

Jooch Journal is finally launched today! And yes, the date 1st April is deliberate, can’t think of a better time than April Fool’s Day to do it. Hope the blog will not end up being a joke however. 🙂 For a start, I have written on my recent trip to Taiwan. I will continue to periodically post photo travelogue of my previous and future trips to other parts of the world. Hope you will enjoy my posts and photos. Feel free to keep your comments coming, I may entertain and reply you sometimes if I am very free, haha. Special call out to my old time IT guru friend J, without whom this computer idiot would never possibly figure out how to set up a blog. 🙂

Enough. After 15 years in civil service, I decided it is time in end 2015 to step away from work to make time for myself, to reflect, experiment and experience life. My passion for travel, food, design and beautiful things is known amongst my friends and colleagues. Now that I have all the time and freedom to do what I love, I want to start this blog to share my experiences. 恁爸嘜做了！跟老板说出这句话时，爽翻了！在公家机构打了十五年工，下定决心管他的，2015年下旬任性地休息一年再说。突发奇想，反正有的是时间，把这些年来的经历，好玩的、好吃的、好看的、所思所感等等，整理一下跟大家分享。制造机会重新认识自己，做自己爱做想做的事，说不定，前方有片新的天空等着自己任意翱翔。或者是老来也可自己翻阅重温回味，就是这样，散乱随性地收集记忆，如此而已。
